Countdown to V-Day - The Perfect Place to Go

So your hair is done, your makeup looks great and you know exactly what to wear! Now, where are you going to go?! I've done some research and found some great places in St. Louis to go with your man. (Assuming he's the last minute type and hasn't already planned everything) Check out some of these romantic spots!

Now, for the ladies! Don't get down in the dumps because you're not with anyone this time of year. This is such an amazing chance to reconnect with your girlfriends, get out of the house (and sweatpants) and get dressed up!

Sweet Heart Lunches
Take your Valentine to Bixby's at the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park. The museum restaurant is offering Sweet Heart Lunches in February. The three-course meal is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The cost is $16 a person.

Love at Laumeier Sculpture Park
Laumeier Scuplture Park is hosting a Valentine's party called LOVEmeier. The event features art displays, chocolate, drinks and more. It runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 for the general public and $25 for members. Children are also welcome and get in free with a paid adult admission.

Chuck Berry at Blueberry Hill
It's actually the day before Valentine's Day, but what a special treat it would be to take your love to see rock-n-roll legend Chuck Berry at Blueberry Hill. Berry still plays at the popular club once a month. Tickets are $35.

Jazz at the Bistro
Music lovers can spend Valentine's at one of St. Louis' premiere jazz clubs. Jazz at the Bistro welcomes Sachal Vasandani for an evening of fantastic music. Jazz at the Bistro is located at 3536 Washington Avenue in Grand Center. Tickets are $27 to $32 a person.

Untamed Hearts at the St. Louis Zoo
The St. Louis Zoo may not be the first place you think of for romance, but that could soon change. The Zoo is offering a gourmet, three-course meal at the Living World. Also new this year, a performance by stand up comedian Joe Marlotti. The cost is $125 per couple (tax and gratuity included). There are seatings at 6 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.
