1. Adele (To pair with the 50's style hair on January Jones in my last post)
In my opinion, Adele never misses the mark! Her makeup is always impeccable! She's a huge fan of the large winged black eyeliner and huge, gorgeous lashes! This style would be a perfect one for a nice evening out.
Get the Look:
1. Brush a subtle pink all over your lid.
2. Using a larger brush, apply a slightly darker pink or light tan to your crease
3. Blend together
4. Using an eyeliner brush, apply Black Gel eyeliner starting thin near the tear duct, thickening over the middle of the lid, and gliding into a wing over the corner of your eye
5. Apply false eyelashes (make sure they are cut to fit your eye so there is no hangover) The eyelashes that you buy at the store are not one-size fits all!
6. Apply mascara to the top and lower lashes.
7. Finish with a subtle rose colored lipstick or lipstain
Kate is never over-done! She always rocks the subtle makeup that would look good on anyone! This look would be perfect for a movie date, or casual evening out.
Get the Look:
1. Apply golden brown, shimmery eyeshadow over your whole lid and crease
2. With a larger brush, blend a cocoa brown eyeshadow in your crease
3. Apply a small amount of shimmer white eyeshadow on the inner corners of your eye to keep the look fresh and make your eyes pop!
4. Use brown eyeliner on your water line on bottom, and tightline on your upper lashes
5. Apply black mascara
6. Use peach blush to the apples of your cheeks
7. Finish the look with a clear or nude color lip-gloss
3. Emma Stone (To pair with the free and curly style of Janelle Monae in my last post)
Okay, I love her! Her personality, her hair and...THESE LIPS! Emma Stone is the epitome of fun and fresh! This look, with the perfect earrings, and you're ready for a night out with your best gal pals!
Get the Look:
1. Keep your eyelids bare or simply wear an eyeshadow base that matches your skin tone
2. Apply black eyeliner using a eyeliner brush and gel black eyeliner, or use liquid eyeliner. She has kept the wings on her eyeliner very small.
3. Apply mascara on top lashes and bottom lashes. When applying on the bottom lashes, use a piece of toilet paper under your lashes, making sure you don't get any mascara on your skin. Black smudges under your eyes will make this look start to look muddy.
4. Add a little gloss or shimmer to the top of the cheek bones just under your eyes to highlight your cheeks.
5. Finish the look with the best part! The hot pink lips!! The lipstick she is wearing is Carthage by NARS!
This looks is all about precise lines and pops of color. Keep a steady hand when you're finishing your eyeliner and when you're applying the lipstick. Also, ladies, DO YOUR EYEBROWS! Keep them clean and colored in if necessary. You will have no shadow on your lids, so it wouldn't be hard to see any straggle hairs you might have forgotten!
4. Charlize Theron (To pair with the stick straight look on Gwenyth Paltrow in my last post)
Charlize
Theron is as classy as they come! Being such a sophisticated woman, she
doesn't stray much when it comes to her makeup. She loves the neutral
tones that make her blue eyes pop. This look is perfect for anything you
may be doing on V-Day! Wear with a hot dress, jeans and boots, or
anything your heart desires.
Get the look:
1. Apply a shimmery bronze eyeshadow all over the lid, crease and underneath the eye.
2. Use a larger brush to add a darker bronze to the outer corner and crease of the eye.
3. Using that same brush, blend the dark shadow slightly underneath the thickest part of your eyebrow and close to above your tear duct.
4. BLEND BLEND BLEND!
5. Add a white shimmer eyeshadow to the inner corners of the eye
6. Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler and apply mascara
7. Use highlighter under eyes, on chin and bridge of nose. I use MAC Lustre Drops in Pink Rebel.
8. Finish with a pink/nude satin lipstickDo you love these looks as much as I do?! Post a picture and show us some other amazing makeup looks for V-Day!
