Thinking Green

Yesterday marked my first day as a Pescetarian (mostly vegetarian, with some fish occasionally)! I don't usually eat a lot of meat anyway, so I thought I would just do away with it all together. I had been thinking about this for a while, and then watched about 3 or 4 food documentaries that tipped me over the edge.

So far, I haven't had to change much of my lifestyle, and I'm really loving it! My boyfriend is a Pescetarian as well, so that also helps a lot. Last weekend we went to brunch at an amazing local restaurant called Local Harvest. Let me tell you, it was so delicious! They had so many vegan and vegetarian options and all of it was ridiculously good. For those of you who were in the same boat as me, check out these amazing documentaries! They're all on Netflix, and really helped me make my decision. Also, here are a few local restaurants that are vegan/vegetarian friendly places to try out.
