STL Writers' Room

My dear friend Austin is an amazing writer and is getting ready to open his first business!  It is called the STL Writers' Room located downtown on Locust Street.  I've asked him some questions to help explain what this new space is all about :)

So tell me, what exactly is "The STL Writers' Room"?
The STL Writers’ Room is a unique, membership organization that offers area writers a place to work and collaborate among a community of peers. Open 24/7 to writers of any genre or industry, this space offers an alternative to the sub-par conditions of the workplace, coffee shop, or home-office. Everything about his space was designed to make any writer more productive--more inspired. Located in an historic building on Locust Street (across from the Schlafly Tap Room), the WR offers 2,500 sq. ft. of incredible St. Louis architecture with 12-foot windows, plenty of natural light, and panoramic views of the city. It's really an incredible space.

That sounds amazing! What type of "writers" will use the WR? (Can I write my blog there?)
Bloggers, poets, novelists, contract writers, grant writers, and even those just looking for a space to do some personal writing or computer work--all are welcome.

How much does it cost to become a member?
Monthly and quarterly memberships are available now, and include unlimited access to 12 individual writing stations, a full library, high-speed internet, as well as a coffee bar, kitchenette, and lounge areas to relax with a good book. (Optional amenities include personal storage lockers and private, enclosed office spaces.)
All-access memberships (monthly and quarterly) were designed to offer an affordable solution for the working writer--with rates between $3.25 - $3.75 per day; less than that frou-frou latte you're buying at the coffee shop.

So whatever you're working on, finish it at the STL Writers' Room :)

If anyone is interested in learning more about purchasing a membership or viewing the space, send inquiries to stlwritersroom@gmail.com.
